Bremont Design Group is proud to offer a hassle-free, worry-free new winter and summer maintenance program, the first of its kind to be offered in the industry.

This service is designed to give you peace of mind from worry about issues that may nag you during the day, such as whether or not your furnace filters have been changed or if someone checked the humidifier to ensure it is functioning efficiently. It’s a method of helping you keep an eye on your home’s essential electronics without you having to run home or call a neighbor to have it done.

There are so many electronic components in today’s modern homes, but none of them come with scheduled services that are meant to ensure optimum performance and longevity. That’s where Bremont comes in.

By conducting a thorough, inside-and-out inspection of your home in the fall and spring, we can detect, report and repair any problems before they become emergency issues.

This can help save you time, worry, and often money in the long run, and can ensure you are able to protect your most valuable investment for years to come.

  • Remove leaves and animal nests from eaves trough causing any potential of build-up of ice in the eaves trough to help prevent ice backing up on the roof and rain water overflowing in the troughs. Left unchecked, these issues can cause ice damning in the winter due to the spring thaw, which can lead to melting water penetrating the home
  • Check all exterior ventilation grills and vents for blockage and proper ventilation, ensure that flaps are not broken
  • Check exterior caulking and grouting to ensure elasticity, remove, repair and patch crumbling caulking, clean and apply new caulking where doors and windows meet siding or brick
  • Check condition of foundation flashing
  • Close all exterior water faucets and drain lines to ensure freezing of any pipes can be avoided
  • Check exterior finishes such as crezone panels and aluminum freeze boards, look for any signs that corrosion of exterior elements are not evident
  • Check for adequate drainage around house, ensure that there is no evident of ponding on lot, look for any signs of water that may be draining towards house

  • Check driveways and walks for cracks, ensure potential water (i.e., rainfall) will not cause any up-heaving
  • Lubricate hinges and retighten hardware on garage doors with proper equipment to ensure they are opening and closing freely
  • Inspect roof and apply roof tar cement to loose shingles, replace missing or damaged shingles, examine flashing for looseness between chimney, roof, and flashing, check for any nests that may be potential problems
  • Check attic for ventilation and evidence of roof leaks from attic
  • Check pressure relief valves on water heater to ensure they are holding
  • Check smoke detectors, clean sensors and ensure batteries are replaced where required
  • Clean fireplace service areas
  • Clean and replace range hood filter in kitchens
  • Drain and clean humidifier (if applicable)
  • Inspect venting of mid-efficiency furnace (if applicable)
  • Conduct inspection of air conditioning system, ensure unit is properly operating and communicating with thermostat and furnace
  • Inspect all key locks, lubricate all exterior doors (if required), lubricate all hinges
  • Adjust all interior doors to ensure they open and close freely with no rubbing on frames
  • Inspect windows, lubricate casements (if required), ensure seals are functioning
  • Check that all exterior downspouts are draining correctly to ensure no potential foundation leaks
  • Check siding and re-nail loose siding
  • Balance heating system (if necessary), adjust airflow in unused rooms as required

Please note: We will require approximately 4 hours to perform the report. Any necessary parts or equipment will be provided in the report and, once authorized by the client, will be charged based on cost. If additional time is required to complete the service, those fees will be provided in the report estimation.

This program will consist of a thorough inspection of the inside of your home, which will allow us to implement the necessary repairs to keep your most valuable investment protected for years to come.

  • Inspecting and removing all caulking in showers where required and applying new caulking to avoid any potential water leaks inside shower and bathtub areas. This will also give your showers a visually refreshed look as well, as it includes removing all mildew.
  • Conducting a thorough inspection of all interior trim baseboards where any gapping has occurred between the wall and baseboards. We will register these areas and apply a refreshed layer of dapping wherever this shrinkage has occurred, leaving them to appear as if they were newly installed.
  • Conducting a thorough inspection of all interior trim casings and doors where any gapping has occurred between the wall and baseboards. We will register these areas and apply a refreshed layer of dapping wherever this shrinkage has occurred, leaving them to appear as if they were newly installed.
  • Conducting a thorough inspection of all countertops in the bathroom, laundry room and kitchen areas where any gapping has occurred between the wall and countertops. We will register these areas and apply a refreshed layer of dapping wherever this shrinkage has occurred, leaving them to appear as if they were newly installed.
Please note that this service will require 8 hours for completion of work. All necessary parts will be provided once authorized by the client. If additional time is required to complete the service, applicable fees will be provided in the report estimation.
