How long does it take to build a home?

Usually, it takes around six to eight months to build a home.

What materials are used?

We use a wide range of materials, including brick, vinyl-clad windows, asphalt, wood and concrete foundation.

What systems are installed for heating and cooling?

We offer a furnace, automated thermostat with heat, fan and cooling capabilities; and a heat recovery ventilation system.

Does my home come with a warranty?

Yes, we offer a Tarion Homeowner Warranty to our clients.

Are you licensed?

Yes. We are fully licensed.

Do you carry insurance?

The sites are insured until occupancy. Once the home becomes occupied, purchasers need their own insurance.

What customizations can I make?

Structural or interior customizations depend on the project and site. Customizations are also subject to architectural control.

How do I set up an appointment?

There are three ways to set up an appointment: Register online, call the sales office of the project you are interested in, send us an email in our general mailbox.

What do I need for the first meeting?

You will need photo identification, cheques and pre-qualification for mortgage financing.

Can we purchase through our
own agent?

Yes. Please note that the commission depends on the site.

Do I lose my deposit if I change my mind once the deal has firmed up?

Yes, deposits are non-refundable after the deal has firmed up.

Do I need proper financing before buying?

It is recommended that you get financing advice before purchasing. Bremont Homes will also have a bank representative who you can speak with on site.

Can I receive general pricing for upgrades at the time of the offer and/or can I visit the Décor Centre to see what upgrades are available?

Yes. We will provide you with pricing information about upgrades.
